Start off by distributing the meeting agenda a few days in advance. This gives people time to prepare and provide feedback. Next up start with simple details about when it should start, location etc. Follow this by clearly stating the meeting’s objective. This should be no more than two sentences. Try to avoid allocating time to each topic, instead let the content dictate how long topic should be. Lastly, keep the agenda to no more than five topics. Nobody wants to be in a meeting for 2 hours!
